The CDC has tracked a steady, multi-decade rise in reported tickborne disease cases, and ticks are confirmed in counties that had none a generation ago.
More than Lyme
Lyme is the majority of reported cases, but the same bite can carry anaplasmosis, babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Powassan virus, or trigger alpha-gal syndrome — depending on which species bit you.
Under-targeted
